DigiSkill Kicks Off with Powerful First Online Dialogue on Intercultural Communication

On May 27, 2025, the DigiSkill project launched its first online dialogue, drawing in more than 60 participants from across Europe and beyond. The session, titled “Basics of Intercultural Communication,” explored key concepts such as Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions and Hall’s High vs. Low Context Communication.

Led by guest speaker Ingrid Šůrová, Vice President of Business & Professional Women Czech Republic, the event offered an engaging mix of theory, reflection, and interaction. Participants shared thoughts via live chat and engaged in a post-session survey to track learning outcomes.

This marks the beginning of 20 planned dialogues under DigiSkill—a project designed to equip 2,500 young people with digital and intercultural skills. The next session, “Stereotypes, Prejudices, and Cultural Sensitivity,” is scheduled for June 17.
