Around 60 Participants Explored Essential Software Skills During the 15th DigiSkill Online Dialogue

The DigiSkill Project successfully hosted its 15th Online Dialogue, bringing together around 60 participants from different countries for an engaging discussion on “Key Software Skills for Modern Workplaces.” The online session highlighted the growing importance of digital competences and practical software knowledge in today’s rapidly evolving labour market.

The dialogue was facilitated by Tereza Divotyan, an employee at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republicand a student of Political Science and International Relations. Drawing on both her academic background and professional experience in administration and customer service, Tereza shared practical insights into the software applications and digital competences that have become increasingly valuable across modern workplaces.

Throughout the session, participants explored a variety of software tools used for communication, collaboration, project management, document creation and everyday workplace productivity. The dialogue also examined how digital literacy extends beyond technical knowledge, emphasizing the importance of adaptability, continuous learning and the ability to confidently navigate digital working environments.

Using DigiSkill’s non-formal education approach, the session combined interactive discussions, practical examples and participant engagement, allowing attendees to exchange experiences, ask questions and reflect on the software skills that can strengthen their employability and professional development.

The dialogue also encouraged participants to think critically about the future of work and the role digital technologies continue to play in transforming organisations, teamwork and career opportunities. By connecting practical workplace examples with participants’ own experiences, the session demonstrated how mastering digital tools can improve efficiency, communication and collaboration across different sectors.

The event formed part of the DigiSkill Project, an Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges initiative dedicated to strengthening digital, professional and intercultural competences among young people, youth workers and educators. Through online dialogues, training courses, webinars and international cooperation, DigiSkill continues to create accessible learning opportunities that prepare participants for the demands of an increasingly digital society.
